Hey folks, not sure if this question belongs here (feel free to correct me, otherwise): I wanted to gift a book to a friend in Switzerland. What options do I have?

You can simply buy a book and courier to Switzerland? In that way, you might even have an option of sending it with a handwritten note!😉 Is that what you are asking or were you asking for book recommendations for gifting?

@creamy-bird-1828 I would first google for “buy books online Switzerland” and see why options they have. If it does not look great, try amazon.de and then later amazon.co.uk I believe Amazon US will also ship your stuff to Switzerland but it gets progressively expensive from de < uk < us If it is a popular book, you will probably get it in one of the online Switzerland bookstores. EU is mostly served via Amazon uk, France and Germany (.de). All the best and let us know what you decided to go with. Also, prices may vary quite a bit between these sites - so might be good to check out all of them with shipping. Your amazon India login should work everywhere.

I was thinking about this, and thought that if I buy the book and then courier it, I might be able to add some Indian tea to it (which my friend has been on a look out for). Best thing would be search ecommerce sites in that country and use paypal or other alternative that way you can save courier fee and import tax if applicable
