How do you guys find time to read books? Do you read it one go I mean complete it in few days or just read 20-30pages daily?

I read when I want to take a break, or sometimes at breakfast or lunch I always read before I sleep for around 20 mins simply because I like it. I don't keep track of time, it's more of have I finished this chapter or if I have something else to do I don't try to 'make time' for books, I read books to get answers/motivation/stories etc so it's like something fun and interesting

If it is a popular book, there is a high chance someone already made a 10 minute youtube video explaining the main content of that book. That’s what I search for.

I have books around the house. I usually end up reading 2-3 books at the same time depending on what I am feeling like. Time is always an issue with multiple projects and kids. But I think on an average, I am able to put in 30m a day. I also have audible - so when I am out taking a walk or cycling, I have that on. If you are looking for inspiration, this is a great video. Even the fist 6m are good to show you what you are missing if you aren’t reading regularly.

I read books generally before going to bed. And immediately after switching off from work every evening. That way, I am able to put at least 45 mins of reading every day. And on weekends, with more indulging fictions and fantasies, I love to spend hours on ends with the book. Weekends act like boosters for completing a book. I also try to keep my Goodreads reading list updated. That helps to keep me accountable for my reading progress. Ever since I switched to Kindle, reading has become more convenient and regular. Kindle is always in the same room as I am, within easy reach. During work as well, when I feel like taking a break, I can easily get back on it.

I keep ebooks on the phone and to avoid looking at social media, I have switched to reading books for 20 30 mins in the morning. Completed like 5 self help books like that
Also keep hard copy books around when I want to get away from the phone, but stay entertained

If you are not a regular reader like me. This might help. I started with 10 pages daily. There were some days where I was not "feeling" to read. But I forced myself to read it anyway. After few months It became a habit for me to read 10 pages everyday. Once I got this as habit. I started reading 2-3 books at time and switch books based on mood and work. I've already wrote about this here. https://burhanrashid52.com/2021/01/04/creating-a-habit-reading-books/ As naval said "Read what you love until you love to read."

I used to read a lot while commuting. Read about 80-100 pages that way. But it was mostly fiction books and stuff that I liked reading. When I started remote work, I stopped reading completely because there was no inherent incentive aside from the fact that "I'll look cool at parties when I tell people I read a 100 books last year." Right now I don't have to make time to read per se, it's just become a habit. I still waste a lot of time on social and reddit but I usually read something after work and before sleeping. It's just a habit you need to develop. After a point of time not reading something will make you uncomfortable.
