Hi folks, I built a digital bookshelf from my books and highlights on my Kindle. The plan is to also write book summaries in the future. For now, it's the collection of highlights I took on Kindle while reading the books. Feedback welcome 😁 https://aravindballa.com/bookshelf/

I really like the idea. I am "inspired" and add it to my site too!

Designwise it looks great, and goes perfectly with your site, bringing an little color to the b/w site too.

@calm-grass-85557 I’m using Readwise’s API to get the book details and the highlights

Fantastic stuff. Would you like to talk about the tech stack you used?
g
Yes. I use NextJS for the website. These pages are generated using Readwise API. The code is opensource if you'd like to have a look. I also wrote about how I put together these pages on my recent newsletter - https://aravindballa.com/hackletter/12/ I'm up for any more specific questions too.

This is so awesome @gray-bird-14941. I do this manually to create an offline bookshelf with exported highlights in Obsidian, then publish them on my blog.

Nice! 💯
