The first half of the book is pretty good, talking about zettlekasten and how to use it, the other half is pretty basic about why you should read well, think properly and habit building. My opinion: can skip it and watch some videos on zettlekasten and how to use it. I've been using the method for sometime now and the only way is to learn using it over time. image below: my own zk notes using obsidian.md

This is what the book is about https://zettelkasten.de/introduction/

@sticky-policeman-8499 have you read it? From what I know the book is about the author's journey towards becoming a memory champion, more like an autobiography. Not sure how it relates to zettlekasten and note taking.

Oh sorry about that. No I haven't read this book. I just heard about this from places and I thought it was some framework for learning and retaining information. Removed it.

@kind-queen-6796 Are you using the paid version of Obsidian? I have used the Cornell Note taking system for my studies, till now and it works fine. However, I think Zettelkasten Method might be much more helpful in connecting the dots. Thanks for sharing 🙂

@quick-judge-84214 There's no need to get the paid version. It's just to support the devs and get early access builds. They recently launched a monthly subscription for encrypted cloud storage, if you need that. Otherwise you can use dropbox/icloud to sync/save files. I use icloud. Zk is great, it takes some time to get the hang of, give it a few weeks-months.
