Any recommendations for good business books? I am looking for something more academic than a biography/auto-biography about some obscure businessman

I'll suggest you go for "Leadership & Self-deception" by Arbinger Institute. It's a beautiful book with a pile of learnings in an organizational setting that can be applied to any sphere of life. I'll write a review soon 😊

Can you elaborate "more academic" ?
@square-diamond-74544 Is it about applied people management? I've been looking for a good book on this topic for a while. Please keep us posted once you write the review 👍

@fresh-analyst-84724 I couldn't find the right adjective but what I meant is that I don't want to read some rehashed garbage by people who make money selling books. "Everyone can build a business" type nonsense that is shallow and keeps beating around the bush. Lots of books like that floating in the market that promote "hustle" culture. None of that actually works when building a business. I am looking for books that talk about crucial aspects of running businesses such as finding product-market fit, avoiding sunk costs, maintaining cashflows, etc.
