Has anyone tried buying books from amazon.com instead of amazon.in? I know its little bit pricey, but quality of the book for international print is good

Rarely. Only for books not available in India and often for used books. Quality is good. A few times, I haven't received the copy and have received the refund. Check out: https://www.thriftbooks.com/ as well for used books. (They refunded me one time when a book did not arrive after 30 days as well).
