Since we are talking about courses, what are your thoughts on Pluralsight? They have a sale now, $105 for yearly sub (cheaper than egghead, frontend masters). I am an egghead and FEM subscriber but I find egghead videos too basic (google-able stuff, and things you can find in the docs except few courses) and FEM too lengthy for my taste. https://www.pluralsight.com/pricing?type=individual

I have paid $30 for Pluralsight for two years before stopping subscription. It also depends on how you learn - basically having it enabled for the year / month allows you to quickly refer to it - and jump in and out as you please. I have switched to Udemy since and buy stuff on demand which proves to be cheaper. YMMV. But at $105, it looks like a good deal. Pluralsight also seems to be a mixed bag - sometimes instructors are good and sometimes very boring. Compared to that, getting one of the top 5 courses on Udemy for a subject almost always gives you the best instructors

Good point. Since each course on Udemy is $10, it will be cheaper if I take less than 11 courses, which is a lot. But an issue with Udemy is most courses there are beginner level or targeted to all levels. Even in an all levels type course, the instructor might choose not to go into deep concepts since it will scare off first-timers. Compared to that egghead, FEM, and Pluralsight have more dedicated expert courses.

Yes. You are right. If you are looking for more in depth or expert level courses or even fringe technologies, I would look at Pluralsight. I was only focusing on beginner level stuff

Sure thing. Btw @loud-glass-33663, what did you mean by paying $30 to Pluralsight for 2 years 🤔 ? Is there a way to get it cheaper?

@rough-autumn-89795 No. it was $30 or $35 per month if I remember correctly😊 so in comparison, the 105 is a good deal

Oh wow. So they actually decreased the price. It is $19/mo now.
