Consider checking out rg too. But idk which is faster, but rg is trying to beat grep at it's game. rg literally is short for rip grep

Yes, just checked it out, I haven't used
ripgrep
as yet, but looks interesting. I somehow happen to stumble first on
the silver searcher
and have continued to use it since.

Thanks for the list, CopyQ looks interesting. I would also like to recommend - freedom.to. Been using it for the last 3 months. For someone with an easily distracted mind, the tool has transformed my remote work experience helping me build routine for uninterrupted sessions of quality work. might be helpful to people getting started with remote work :D
