The banks have come up with the feature wherein if one hasn’t used a card for online transactions, online billing gets disabled. Only swiping/dipping the card physically works. Supposed to be a feature. Probably in this case what has happened is that they’ve incorrectly marked an online active card as an inactive one.

I had been regularly using it for online transactions until a week back, when they abruptly disabled it. No way to re-enable it. Worst of all their customer support is completely non responsive.
