Friend wants to get a 16GB M1 MacBook Pro but none of the resellers in Bangalore have it in stock as it has to be customised. For those who did buy it, how long was the wait? Is there a way to skip the wait (some random store might have bought them and kept in stock or something)?

You have to get it from apple online store. It will be shipped directly from the factory. Took me about 2 weeks.
