Any recommendations for a good physiotherapist in Bangalore? I've been experiencing chronic pain in my back, shoulders and neck for the last 1 year. Got some scans done and everything seems to be normal (as per the doctors) So I suppose the only way to get rid of this issue is to see a physiotherapist

@bitter-boots-24291 Yep. I did all of that. Spent 17k on a table and 8k on a chair. Nothing changed. Only ended up burning 25k 😅

I always thought an ergonomic chair would fix my lower back pain, guess what? It made it even worse. I've been using a straight back chair for the last 6 months and all my issues are gone. I honestly think ergonomic chairs are overhyped.

@kind-queen-6796 My experience is opposite of yours. i worked sitting on a straight plastic chair for a month. Had severe back pain . After switching to a ergonomic chair with lumbar support, i have never felt back pain again.

A good chair is not a miracle worker. You'll have to adjust the chair to the right height/posture/support and you can notice a lot of improvement. A good chair can not undo something which has already gone bad, and most would take (lower) back/neck pain seriously at a far worse stage than it should have been

I have been suffering with lower back and neck pain, i shifted towards standing desk and changed my pillow to memory foam, feels much better now

Gentle Yoga worked wonders for me, I was able to heal completely in less than 4 months. The only caveat is the pain comes back if I don't do yoga session for straight 2-3 weeks which in a way is good because it helps me being consistent with my practice.

@refined-vr-28621 Which chair are you using?
r
I bought it from a local furniture store. there is no branding on it . looks exactly like this chair . It has adjustable lumbar support, head rest and arm rest

I did do Yoga for long time to solve a similar problem. (tail bone pain). Yoga miraculously solved my problem. I also met with a major accident and undergone surgery, in the course met Dr. Suresh - one of the best Orthopaedic surgeon and he has a physio clinic in harlur road.
