Hey guys! Any recommendations for laptop or any good deals on high end laptops? Couple of more questions: - Is it worth to buy Macbook Pro 16" variant? I thought of buying it but I ended up closing the tab after checking the price. (No concerns on budget though, its just I am not sure it will be worthy enough or not), if you think its worthy, can you share some pros? And can you suggest from where should I get it? - If not macbook pro, than can anyone suggest some better options with good price deal? Regarding OS, for any other laptop I will be using ubuntu though. Background: - I am a MERN stack developer, also planning to getting in to mobile dev with React Native/Flutter, - I am found playing games on weekend Budget: - If macbook pro than I will have to go around 1.75L - other than macbook I would go around 1-1.25L PS: Not looking for specific gaming purpose, but if it can serve that purpose than it will be cherry on cake! MacBook Pro is worth it. If you can wait a little, maybe wait for them release a 16 inch M1 laptop. But MacBook is worth its price. 🙂

@thankful-kite-6243 Thanks for the suggestion bro, but one of my friend told M1 is not quite good for development yet, He is facing issues with docker apps, so do you have any idea with that?

My brother got M1 and so far it has worked smooth. It has a very very long battery backup. It’s a new chip so you can expect some issues in first few months but they will get better as more and more developers update their app. You can always run apps on compatibility mode.

It’s the best. I had some issues with my screen after 11 months of purchase and they replaced the entire screen. Apple’s support is best.

MSI support is great, at least in Mumbai, plus they provide 2 years warranty which can be extended by 3 months by registering on their website later

@full-notebook-61466 I had the exact same doubt. Though, I have Macbook Pro 2015 high end. It's kind of slow for some reason. I thought of going with M1 laptop. But, decided to choose M1 Mac mini(yet to buy). If budget, ports are the concern, go wit high end Mac mini

MBP 16 is due refresh only after June. So you might have to wait for a bit.

Yeah, might get new release in september most likely with other apple products
