Is there something similar to https://weekendclub.co/ in India? A community to hack and build together with accountability partners.

Great idea @broad-camera-13514 Just grabbed this domain - www.makers.desi Makers club for Indians. Will try to launch within the next 2 months. Posting here publicly to keep myself accountable and ensure that this domain doesn't go to waste just like all the other domains that I bought šŸ˜…

Haha nice! Even I was thinking of solving this for India. Couple of questions to find out answers to before doing anything • Indiehacking interest in India? Is it enough for such a community to exist in the first place? • What's the best way to go about this? slack group?

A bunch of us that work on HW products, electronics and low-level software/firmware hangout at makerville.io to help each other out. It isn't about bootstrapping or accountability but more of an ecosystem for HW product development and tinkering.

@broad-camera-13514 Yes. I spent a lot of time thinking about both these concerns yesterday. I don't know if charging for it would work given the income disparity. I bought the domain out of excitement but later realized it is highly likely to fail as there's no sustainable revenue model :p I will still give it a try anyway :) Good luck to you as well! šŸ˜€
