Anyone else has tried bifurcating browser activity by profiles. I mean separate profile for work / research / harmful_NSFW links / linkedin etc. Others too or am I the only one who does this? I am open to better ideas. I also (quite obviously) use multiple browsers simultaneously.
I tried seeking help from mozilla volunteers but their way of “being able to run multiple profiles” has more than just cracks for me.
I fixed some issues with having Firefox copied to /Applications/Firefox_SUFFIX but not fully happy.
Especially, when I see start a new profile coz you are using an old version with an incompatible profile. This happens if I do not use a profile for a while. IF I can lose it, it is fine, example NSFW (for suspected random links to be pr0n) . The others I have importance assigned to history, bookmarks etc.
profilemanager unfortunately complicates instead of solving / helping.

I don’t know about profiles but if i suspect a link to be NSFW i open it in firefox focus. I use that browser only for opening random links.

If your goal is privacy then no browser can protect you from the extensive logging done by internet providers in India. You should get a VPN like mullvad for privacy.
