Man, I really hope I don’t have take leaves in coming few months due to dead wifi (heavy rains). This happened yesterday due to heavy rains in Mumbai.
Am I the only one worried about it lol? How are you guys tackling this issue? Extra Jiofi router, etc?

No, you definitely were not the only one. In events like these, it's really difficult even with backups because my internet went down for an hour and I had an important meeting, I remember my phone hotspot wasn't performing at the usual speed either.

Get a dongle as a backup.
While it's may not function as your primary, you'll at least be able to reply to emails/slack etc.
Mobile hotspot is extremely unreliable.

@magnificent-solstice-42554 Does a SIM based wireless dongle perform better than a mobile hotspot, given all other factors are the same (same phone network, same location etc)?

I am stressed out about this constantly. I’m having another ISP setup a connection which I can use as a backup. Right now I use vodafone and airtel 4g hotspots as my last resrot
