Hey all! I had recently got my ipad pro replaced by apple due to a display defect. Now, I did get a new device but the applecare plan has not yet been transferred.
I have been chasing apple customer support since 22nd of July. It's been a month now and all that I hear from their agreements team is: "We don't know how long this would take, but I can guarantee 100% that it will be transferred."
However, my original warranty expires on 25th October, 2021. If I don't have applecare after that, my device is basically screwed if something happens to it since it is not yet covered under applecare.
How do I expedite this process? It is 100% apple who is at fault here. Do I have an option to file a legal complaint? (Since I paid for a service and I am being denied of said service due to the company's negligence)
