network boosters are illegal without owning a license, or deployed by operator itself

TP Link MR600 with external antennas if signal is weak at the place you're using

also if it's only for a few days simply use your phone hotspot, there's no point in investing in such hardware

Sadly most mobile providers are either operating at capacity per node or are artificially throttled (due to a lot of data traffic), you can't expect to do any serious work using it unless you're lucky enough to live near a node that isn't suffering from either of the two issues. Best is to not spend on any additional hardware but have a simple dual SIM phone with two providers who have best coverage in area you're living in.
