30% tax is too good to let go, although I'd have loved for RBI to enforcing it mandatorily to even operate in India as all major providers have added the support already. And Apple only understands legal arm twisting language.

Not defending Apple here, but you want RBI to enforce the usage/offering of credit card/debit card? There's UPI as an alternative here, right?

I couldn’t find a way to add UPI as payment method, tried on mac and iPad.
