It depends on what your value of x is. Do you think some devs are 0.1x? That is essentially the same statement. If you look at developer compensation in India, it ranges from 3 lacs per year to 1.5 cr per year. That indicates that not just 10x, but even 50x devs do exist.

a good app for mac to show my current internet speed ( upload and download ) that sits on the toolbar ? Little snitch is there, but its bit expensive for now.

hey guys, any linux ninjas here 🥋 ? I am getting started with ubuntu and created a droplet in DO and installed FW and stuff. Now I am a .net develoeper - still a .net developer 😕 . So I need to host .net core web api on ubuntu on Nginx. I installed in successfully but the managing it through CLI is really difficult. I am trying 1. to host multiple websites from this. 2. trying to install lubuntu on TightVPN and connect - as I am not used to CLI only 3. In windows- IIS has a good GUI to manage websites. Trying to see if theres anything in nginx to track and monitor the server / websites

I apologise that I never followed up on that discussion 🙏 I mean I had made my mind up, soon after speaking to some folks. But I never communicated the same 🙈 We are sticking to slack for now because - Some of us are already using slack in our work circles. So it’s easier to participate in RI community. - Slack is good because it's chatty and informal. Discourse would require a lot more mental cycles to participate. - Don’t change unless broken. We’re still a nascent community, so it’s early to optimise. @calm-grass-85557 Reasonable decision. Every alternative has some serious limitations (Discord doesn't have threads, other's don't have great mobile apps). I periodically evaluate all alternatives: Keybase, Zulip, MatterMost, Gitter, Matrix/Riot etc. Slack has annoyances, but nothing perfect is out there.
