Hey everyone, Been hearing about focus and burnout related issues from some friends and also on this community. So here's a quick crude survey to understand how the pandemic (and lockdowns) have affected everyone's focusing abilities? Choose one from the following : 👼 I have always had issues with maintaining focus and avoiding boring/difficult tasks all my life. I tend to procrastinate extensively on tasks that I am not interested in. 🙆‍♂️ I was doing fine before the pandemic (except for some occassional procrastination). But post- pandemic my focusing abilities have worsened and I am also feeling burnt-out 🧑‍💻 I have never had (significant) issues focusing on my work. Even after the pandemic began, I haven't faced any issues overall (expect for some occasional procrastination)

Folks using GraphQL in their stack, I have questions. Our team has been pondering over migrating to graphQL from traditional REST Endpoints, but we aren't convinced why should we do it. We have read blogs, watched videos but have't found a strong reason. So, if you have already migrated to GraphQL from REST 1. What made you do it? 2. How does it help you in a way traditional Rest Endpoints could not?

Hello folks, How important are open-source contributions / personal projects for landing a remote job? I understand that it helps if someone else can look at my code but just wondering if not having it is a deal breaker. Would applying to jobs without meaningful contributions on my Github profile lead to any success? For anyone applying for a Schengen short term visa: I'm at the application center and here are a couple points which may help. These are for tourist visa in general but may apply for other short term visa. I'm applying for Germany. Itinerary fully paid makes everything smooth, check if passport number can be on all bookings. If you book with Airbnb, there is a 48 hours waiting period, after which you get address details of accommodation. But you can not get refund after this time. Visa will need address. Check that travel health insurance has your passport number. This is usually what happens but mine didn't have for some reason and I called HDFC Ergo to update and send me a soft copy. Check that your vaccine is Covidhield or one of the EU accepted ones, and has passport number.
