We encourage an “asynchronous” way of doing things. That means approaching our work and our relationships with intention and presence rather than obligation and pressure.

That is why I have decided to only login into slack 2-5 times every day. I hope it does not turn you off that the main guy is not green 🙏 I really believe that "deep work" is the only way to provide maximum value to you. And I will surely get back to your post/query when the time is right for me. That said, I am always up for planned calls or meetings. And during an emergency, you can contact me using the number mentioned on my slack profile. How will this directory be helpful ?

- Let's collect all this info in a central place which is easily visible and searchable. If you want help regarding growth hacking, you can search the google sheet to find that @average-judge-62891 is your guy. Similar examples would be @swift-pilot-25722 for Data Analytics, @wide-church-17574 for CryptoCurrency and Blockchain. The #intro thread is good, but it's not very useful after the first 👋🏼 - If you want to physically meet someone in your city, you can search by place. - I don't want to be the bottleneck for useful information PS: Your feedback is highly welcome 🙏🏼

What are the rules ??

Please distribute your karma points judiciously as there is limited amounts. Right now it's set to 30 points for each user every month ( happy to discuss any changes to that number in #meta channel ) These are just guiding principles. Feel free to break them. And obviously they do not cover all the beautiful possibilities 🙂

Max karma points that can be given in offered is 5
- Plan a meetup in your city +3
- Share job leads from your personal network +2
- Being awesome (eg. share a good resource, offer feedback/advice) +1
- Attend a meetup +1
- No show in buddy-call -1

There is automatic karma calculation for reactions to any post. I think it's 0.1 if I remember correctly. So maybe sometimes emoticons are good enough. You can always type

/karma mantra

or

@karmabot mantra

to display these rules/guidelines ( which should be updated every few months ). ⚠️ As I mentioned earlier, I want folks to be mindful enough to switch off slack notifications ( or even stay offline ) and check the updates once or twice a day. Let's not focus on adding value at the cost of deep work.
