Is there any way i can check for deprecated code in all our classes if i have the code on my laptop with pdk and the puppet agent installed? We want to be able to turn off settings like this in the future. But we don't have the metadata.json file in our classes since we didn't meant to publish them anywhere.
puppet config set strict_variables false --section main
puppet config set strict warning --section main
puppet config set include_legacy_facts true --section main
I tried this, but i doesn't catch deprecated code like $::hostname and so:
find site-modules/ -name "*.pp" | while read file; do
echo "Testing: $file"
puppet.bat parser validate --strict=warning "$file"
done
