Hi Folks. Please excuse my ignorance on this. I'm looking at a Puppet 8 upgrade and having difficulties with the Puppet NodeJS module from https://forge.puppet.com/modules/puppet/nodejs/readme due to PSON being removed in Puppet 8. The relevant code is at https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-nodejs/blob/master/lib/puppet/provider/package/npm.rb#L21 and I can see that's it's taking the output from npm in json format and parsing it which now fails. Is there an alternative method that can be used to parse the output not using PSON? Is it as simple as replacing PSON.parse with JSON.parse as this works fine?
