Interesting idea. Do you think viewing those metrics should be gated by any kind permission?

at the moment I don't see a reason for this but I'm also not a big RBAC evangelist :smile:

we're currently cleaning up a infrastructure and it has a lot of plans/tasks. some depend on each other, some aren't used in years. I think some stats/visualizations would be helpful

I also don't see a big need for RBAC in this case, and we do a lot with RBAC. it would be great to see metrics both of which plans/tasks are called directly and which ones are called as subplans/tasks of the actual invoked plan.  to see what users are using/invoking vs. what is being used overall

during this we identified 3 plans to start a puppet agent on a group of nodes

getting that down to one good plan is nice :smile:
