@Mischa Coenen I believe this is just a matter of priority: there are still parts of the PCP implementation of Bolt actions missing functionality, and while we try to get to as much of it as possible some things will inevitably get left until someone comes to us asking for it explicitly. The team will work with out product manager to see where this fits in our priorities.

I imagine it won't be too hard to get prioritized, since the changes shouldn't be that wide ranging

It would be great if it could get some priority because Puppet Bolt is getting traction at our company but we notice that the PCP protocol has its issues. To keep my traction I've got now with the DBA team which run their scripts via Bolt but face the issue that a required OS environment variable to run their Python script is missing 😞

πŸ‘ that's great! I'm glad to hear you're getting traction. @Mischa Coenen if you open a PE ticket in JIRA that will be a good place to track progress.

How can I raise a PE ticket? Is that via Puppet support?

Once it's open you can either post it in a thread here or just DM it to me and I'll make sure it finds its way to the team

oh hai, any chance we could get something that does some more magic with puppet strings to generate nicer reference materials on forge (specifically taking the TOC and turning it into a left hand menu that floats (ala sphinx's readthedocs)
