because the more you have in your head the more you can combine to get something new and incredible even if you’re just siting on a log in the middle of a forest or wherever 🙂

thanks @artyom, I’ll check that out. Loving what you’re doing here. Where can I find information about the health of the company? Number of employees, how well funded, that sort of thing. Would hate to incorporate this into a new project then have to refactor it out because the service went away, you know?

Also, I’m not very knowledgable about the schemas, so I’m unsure if things like filters and creating relationships is domain specific or whether that’s all standards based graphql stuff

if those things are completely portable, then that goes a long way toward quelling the possible refactor fears

Regarding your concerns, they are understandable. Two points on that: 1) we are not planning on going anywhere, you'll have to take our word for it; 2) graphql in the end is just a specification, so should god forbid something did happen to our company, we'd make sure you're back up and running in no time

However, when it comes to the filter api that you're referring to, that is specific to graphcool. It's based on the open graphql spec though

Finally, as Kennedy said, ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. On which note, the best think you can do to make sure that none of your concerns come true is actually to use our product, spread the good word if you're enjoying it, and, when the time is right, pay us for our services :)

no offense… really, but nobody ever plans on failing. We’d never start if we did. That said, I certainly wish you the best of luck. I also think you’ve got the right offering and are off to a great start in a very competitive space. Appreciate the time you gave to answering my questions. I do have a technical question regarding authorization as well if you’ll indulge me. My application will have events. Each event would have an event manager, who has certain administrative responsibilities for their event, but no other event. Within those events are teams. Members of each team should be able to modify aspects of their team, but none of the other teams. And of course admins should be able to do anything to any event or team. Is there a way to model this in graphcool?

oh, and are relations also domain specific, like filters are?

I love the value add of filters… and relations too if they are domain specific

Hello people! I'm having some problems setting up graphql subscriptions in react-native, I'm using the graphcool API URL for subscriptions. I have the same configuration on the web and everything works correctly, the difference is that on the web I use localStorage and in mobile AsyncStorage. When I try to use some subscriptions functionality in react-native it says I do not have sufficient permissions. From what I see, he is not converting as it should, the token.
