Good morning! Any pointers on how to use the Algolia integration? Especially what to do when you created the indices on graphcool but need to get it setup on Algolia side.

Hey Francois - is your data getting synced correctly to Algolia?

If it is, then it should be a simple matter of using the Algolia library to perform your searches. If you describe your use case then I can give a few pointers

Hey @sorenbs. No. I don't see anything on Algolia side. Do I need to do anything on Algolia side beside creating the account and creating the integration + few indices on graphcool side?

That should be all you need to do. Can you send me a pm with your Graphcool api endpoint. Then I can check that everything is set up correctly

hi all - I was going through the Apollo Pokedex tutorial and had questions on watched queries and updateQueries / reducers

does Apollo only watch queries that are registered for the components that are currently mounted?

hey @mdc405 I haven't researched this topic in detail. Let me know if you come up with some insights simple smile Spontaneously I would say yes, but that's just my feeling. A great tool in general when working with Apollo is this: “Apollo Client Developer Tools” @danimman https://dev-blog.apollodata.com/apollo-client-developer-tools-ff89181ebcf Finally, maybe @sashko can shine some light on this 💪

@mdc405 I'm new to apollo, but I found this article helpful, and in the "Keeping query results consistent" it says that if you use a view integration like react-apollo or angular2-apollo then it will keep it update to date automatically (no need to use
    watchQuery
    ) https://dev-blog.apollodata.com/the-concepts-of-graphql-bc68bd819be3
