    Quick question πŸ™‚ What’s the difference between something like
    Copy code
    extend type Query {
      feedback(userId: String!, feedback: String!)
    }
    and
    Copy code
    query update($node_id: ID, $user_id: ID) {
      SomeJournalEntryExists(filter: { id: $node_id, user: { id: $user_id } })
    }
    The first is syntax from the resolver examples for the GC CLI resolvers, and the latter is auto generated from when we ejected the project to the CLI.

    Is it possible to have multiple Graphql Servers talking to the same prisma database service, without having to define the datamodel on each server?

    Does the β€˜export’ command still exist in the Graphcool CLI? As per documentation: https://www.graph.cool/docs/reference/data-import-and-export/data-export-pa0aip3loh/#data-export-with-the-cli

    Is there any documentation on migrating (I fully realize it’s not actually a migration, no magic or anything) from graphcool framework to Prisma?

    Hi <!everyone>! πŸ‘‹ Today, we’re officially launching Prisma Cloud, which makes it super easy to run Prisma in production and gives you awesome features like the data browser and team collaboration. You can get started for free using one of the development clusters or create a new cluster connecting to your own database. See here for the full blog post: https://blog.graph.cool/introducing-prisma-cloud-a-graphql-database-platform-ed591baa8737 Can’t wait to here everyone’s feedback! prisma P.S. Please support us on Product Hunt – we’re currently on the frontpage πŸ™‚

    Since you can’t use PrismaCloud with Graphcool, are they kind of competing platforms? I currently have an app on Graphcool and I’m wondering if PrismaCloud adds anything to my stack or if I should consider switching

    @aryan Graphcool is an entire backend platform, Prisma is all about making a database available through GraphQL. From what I understand Graphcool will be re-engineered on top of Prisma in the near future

    @schickling - congrats on the launch. but want to point out as a new user of graphcool that the difference between graph.cool and prisma is extremely confusing. you really, really should invest the time to make this super clear. it also feels odd to me that while graph.cool is struggling with some basic functionality - i wasted hours trying to understand how to import data due to silently failing errors and very sub-par documentation - the team is focused on developing another product rather than improving graph.cool . What's the plan here?

    Honestly, I am debating whether to continue investing time using your platform due to the lack of clarity here - and the feeling that I am investing in a platform that is being overlooked while you focus on a different product

    I literally wasted 3+ hrs trying to understand how to import data, and from reading around, I am not the only one who struggled with that. I can't imagine that's an uncommon use case
