Querying Algolia directly vs through the GraphQL api supports two different use cases. We would definitely do both.

Sorry one more feature suggestion. In the playground can we have a Guest option under the dropdown for the authentication level

Got "internal server error" when trying to add a unique constraint on a field which doesn't have any permissions configured. I had a red error message appearing in a box at the top right of the dashboard, which mentions the request ID which generated the error, but there's no way to copy it here before it disappears.
