🚀 Last week in OpenObserve! ✨ What's New • Profile ingestion and storage capture and query CPU/memory profiles the same way you already do logs and traces. • Alerts now support a pending period, a condition has to hold for a stretch before it fires, so a single blip doesn't page you at 3am. • Bulk-add curated alerts from the library, install a whole set at once instead of one at a time. • PromQL/metrics engine reworked with hash-sorted tables and pruned scans, less work per query as your metrics volume grows. ✨ What's Fixed • Alert label sets no longer dropped on OTLP/JSON metrics paths or realtime notifications, alerts were silently losing context before this. • JS function execution time now bounded, stops a slow function from starving the whole HTTP worker pool. • Nodes now publish only after the gRPC listener actually binds, closes a startup race that could leave a node registered before it was ready to serve. 101 PRs merged last week. 💪 🌟 Community shoutouts @Amey Pawar was the most active community contributor last week with four merged PRs. @BENZIZA Mohamed, @Vaibhav Mittal, @Mohd Quamar Tyagi, @司冬雪and @Sidharth Sinhasane each landed a fix too, thank you all. If you're looking to contribute, the dashboards repo has some open issues right now, good place to jump in. What should we tackle next? Drop your ideas!!
