Hello <@U091EAWHGF2>, Could you please let me know...

Hello @Simran(OpenObserve), Could you please let me know whether the
env
field is no longer available inside RUM in the open-source version of OpenObserve? Is this an expected limitation of OpenObserve, or is there any additional configuration required from our side?
s
The env field is supported in the open-source version , it's a standard SDK config option
for config you can take a look at this snapshot
s
I am not saying env is not configured. Saying the Env filter dropdown in the RUM Performance UI shows "No Data Found" even after multiple sessions.
We are already using the exact configuration shown in your screenshot. The
env
field is correctly set in
openobserveRum.init()
.
The issue is specifically in the RUM Performance UI at:
<http://13.207.22.45:5080/web/rum/performance/overview>
When we click the Env dropdown filter, it shows "No Data Found" — even though sessions are being recorded successfully with
env: 'test'
configured.
We can see data in:
Service filter → shows all our services
Version filter → shows
1.0.0
Sessions tab → sessions visible
Performance metrics → LCP, INP, CLS visible
Only the Env filter dropdown shows "No Data Found"
We Are Already Using — Same Config
Our current
rum.ts
is identical to what they showed:
```// WHAT WE USE — matches O2 docs exactly
openobserveRum.init({
clientToken: 'rumztBrfmzy6HiD3jMu',
applicationId: 'react-parent-test',
site: 'openobserve.larkfinserv.com',
service: 'react-parent-test',
env: 'test', // ← env IS set correctly
version: '1.0.0',
organizationIdentifier: 'default',
insecureHTTP: false,
apiVersion: 'v1',
trackResources: true,
trackLongTasks: true,
trackUserInteractions: true,
defaultPrivacyLevel: 'allow',
sessionSampleRate: 100,
sessionReplaySampleRate: 100,
});```
which o2 version are u using >
s
openobserve version v0.90.2
Any update on this issue @Simran(OpenObserve)?
