It seems the Slack Automation is still the polling-based one.
Do we have the new Slack agent implementation in the open?
(I see people are offering to fix issues with the old one)

I know Vasco is planning on converting all of our current automations that are running the bots on the VM into official automations on the extensions repo the early this week

(for maybe not all of them but the ones that are for general interest at least. It takes a little bit of effort to convert them into general things that will work for anyone from the ones we ended up creating for us)

nod It's probably also that the automation repo architecture doesn't include outbound websocket automations. I understand that; TBH I did think, when I recommended this route, that we may have a bit of redesign to do to integrate back such Slack client. (maybe)
I do believe it will be for the best, though.
On a side note, if you mean some are for closed repos, could we move them out in their own VM?

I actually didn't mean that there were any for closed repos, just that there might be some that are pretty specific to our use case and may not be a general interest. But on second thought I think maybe we don't actually have any of those

Ah, good to know, thank you. And maybe, if there are, we can open them up anyway in some different non-default marketplace, or whatever repo?
We had questions like how are we doing some particular automatable tasks, not necessarily because people wanted to reuse them directly, but take inspiration or learn from them. 🙏
