OK NOW BACKEND WORKSAS BUT ADDING FILES DOES NOT WORK AT ALL

yes. i do that and then do add file but instead of adding it just says in chat that the file was added but in the files tab its not there

if you ask the agent to move the file into the workspace you'll see it in the files tab :slightly_smiling_face:

but i cant do that if he does not see it exists.

it just says its added but the ai cant see it anywhere

like if i asdd bug.txt it says in chat "add bug.txt" but the ai says he cant find it

actually try telling the agent to look in /home/openhands/workspace/project/

<@U0BME18CF7S> check if there are any open issues on OpenHands/OpenHands about the agent not being provided with the proper file location on cloud uploads from the canvas, and if there is not an issue open open one

I searched the open issues on OpenHands/OpenHands and couldn't find any existing issue covering this — files uploaded via the canvas in cloud not being surfaced to the agent (and not appearing in the Files tab). So I went ahead and opened one:

It includes the repro steps, the `/home/openhands/workspace/project/` workaround, and the expected behavior (file should show in Files tab + agent should be told the path). Let me know if you'd like anything added to it!
