I see this error quite a lot in these two days, on the Cloud. It’s because of a tool call observation with missing action. 😥 I don’t see it on local.
The conversation cannot continue from this point
I think we had compliance enforcement in place for this kind of issue… maybe it broke, but fwiw I don’t seem to repro locally cc: @wide-doctor-37830

Thanks for sharing Engel. Out of curiosity are you also seeing the agent unable to find or use other tools? If you have a convo ID we can take a look at this

Yes, it’s unable to continue, completely. Because we should drop the invalid tool call, and we did in the past I believe, something must have broken
I did find a way to continue and finish the job here… by telling my local agent to get it and create a new conversation that reads its history and continues 😅
this is one of the broken conversation IDs
This is why we initially made an “openhands API” skill: the agent from somewhere can recover data and do more with previous conversations, when the interface/backend for some reason doesn’t
