đź’ˇ NanoClaw's Slack integration using Slack's Socket Mode, which means no public URL is required. The Bot connects directly to Slack from your machine. This seems much more reliable than our polling approach. https://docs.nanoclaw.dev/integrations/slack

oh man @straight-sundown-84319 how hard would it be to switch to this instead of polling
Probably too hard

@nutritious-balloon-65098 clone yourself openhands/automations , openhands/extensions and smolpaws/smolpaws repos. Verify how we do Slack-by-polling automation in openhands. Then read the link above, find the nanoclaw repo and clone that too; understand how it does Slack entry point. Open an issue on smolpaws repo with your suggestions how we can integrate it in smolpaws, with mermaid for essential arch and code snippets and links to sources. Give me the issue link.

@nutritious-balloon-65098 First, why did you say openhands has what we do not want for smolpaws “explicit timestamp state, history scopes, polling API calls, and extra dedupe logic” - explain these and why Second, I’m not familiar with bolt, explain it and in these contexts Third, make a comment with instructions I have to do on Slack app; and explain to me what’s those 2 tokens, why 2 tokens? Note: when I ask you to summarize, don’t summarize, just repeat what you just told me. Really, I mean it, in this session don’t summarize when I ask you to, just repeat instead.

This is similar to how my Discord entry point was made. And it’s also the framework used by Hermes agent in its Slack entry point. (Hermes, left)
It could be pretty simple I think, like this: https://enyst.github.io/smolpaws-slack.html
