@hundreds-twilight-32833 - One thing that bugs me a bit about agent canvas: There is no way to check your credits / purchase credits like there is on pure cloud. Should we include this?
h
Would exposing /billing when switching to the cloud backend work? Or do you think we need a more visible method for API token/credit usage
f
I think when your LLM provider is OpenHands, we should at least be able to display your credits and add an option to purchase more - even if it just takes you into a cloud UI
We can pull this data directly from litellm if needed
But the purchase credits would have to go through the cloud workflow
I figured I'd just flag this missing functionality
h
Yea makes sense
c
Why would it do this, like on pure cloud? It’s not cloud, it’s a pure client with multiple backends
f
Convenience - if the client is using one of the well known providers which has an api where you can query your available credits, then it is useful information
h
It would need to be in the context of the currently selected backend. Like all the other settings
c
If the LLM provider is OpenHands, it can link to the cloud UI
f
If the LLM provider is any litellm proxy, we can display the amount from there
I imagine we could do the same with major providers - Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.
(Using the litellm API)
c
🤔 That should be possible… sorry, I would love it if we can be clear. Would it mean we’d have another endpoint in the agent-server? I don’t think we should expose /billing when backend is cloud TBH
f
Yes - I think it would be another endpoint on the agent server - something like
/api/llm/providers/{provider_id}
It would return:
top_up_url: string | null,
credits: float | null
c
I'm not sure it works for other providers (I doubt it), but that looks good to me!
f
We certainly need to investigate this
w
let's put a pin in this one while we're in freeze but good to add to the roadmap!
f
Yeah - Devin has already set the priority

I don't see this issue on github 🫠
f
Oops - we discussed it at the App Team standup, but you are correct - let me fix this now
@nutritious-balloon-65098 Please create an issue for this
n
Uh oh! There was an unexpected error starting the job :(
