About https://openhands-ai.slack.com/archives/C06R25BT5B2/p1779203474327729, a simpler (but breaking change) approach:
GET /conversations*
and the deprecated ACP equivalents previously returned the full skills list inline; they now return
[]
unless the caller passes
?include_skills=true
. Much simpler/cleaner, but breaking. Does it make sense? I validated that agent-canvas/openhands never read
.agent.agent_context.skills
from an HTTP response If that's too dangerous, I can make the default
include_skills=true
and update the typescript-client and the agent-canvas/openhands to pass in
include_skills=false
, more work downstream
c
Why would it be dangerous? 😅

some gets the agent_context via http and reads the list of skills expecting to get them, gets [] instead. OK dangerous might not be the best word 😛

Is this changing only for ACP? I thought I saw somewhere a PR removing skills...
I think it's actually a bit weird that we did send them. At least from the perspective of a long-running server, it makes sense for this to be []

no it removes for both
