Small PR for moving Automations from Cloud into the Documentation tab since we're open sourcing it: https://github.com/OpenHands/docs/pull/497
q
Nice I think there may be confusion given the fact that the docs assume you're working on cloud Maybe we can wait until we've released canvas, and mention either use canvas or cloud for automations
e
ah lemme take a look
actually I removed references to OH Cloud in the Automation docs
I see - so if you're running Automations locally, there is no need to create a secret for the OpenHands API key right
q
We still create one, its done automatically though (secure by default) It's just that the docs imply you can create automations from an openhands converstion, and our local GUI today that isn't true (but will be for canvas)
e
Ah right. Will wait until Monday to fix.
Hi Rohit, might need your help with these docs: 1. under
Automations Overview
, we have instructions for creating an OpenHands API Key to use Automations. Is this still required in SaaS? I think Agent Canvas automatically takes care of this now. So we may need to clarify what these "Getting Started" instructions apply to. https://allhandsai-openhands-workspace-48ukxdnuwpw4aih4bwvssf.mintlify.app/openhands/usage/automations/overview#getting-started 2. Event-based automations have examples for registering webhooks with OH Cloud. Is there a different approach needed for Agent Canvas? https://allhandsai-openhands-workspace-48ukxdnuwpw4aih4bwvssf.mintlify.app/openhands/usage/automations/event-automations#step-2-register-the-webhook-with-openhands
q
Both SAAS and agent canvas still use API keys but we auto-generate it now, so we can remove those specific instructions from the docs
e
OK I think the PR is ready to go
@quick-window-91705 any chance you can take a peek?

LGTM just need to address the review comments and the failing CI
e
Yep, just fixed. Thanks!
