I'm guessing maybe Add Team Members shouldn’t be visible on individual accounts? It does nothing
m
Hello @calm-artist-7206, Could you please try enabling this checkbox and then clicking the button again? Thank you! thankyou
c
Then I see this dialogue
m
Yes, that is correct. We are displaying a survey to ask users a few questions. We are relying on PostHog to gain better visibility into the user journey, and we would like to collect more robust data regarding interest in SaaS versus self-hosted offerings. Our goal is to better understand and measure user interest in SaaS compared to self-hosted solutions. @elegant-branch-54423 may be able to add additional context or clarify if I have missed anything. Thank you! thankyou
e
That's correct. It's an experiment we are running in SaaS to collect feedback on what commercial deployment options might be interesting to users.

OK. Tiny nit: maybe any menu item should do something, anything
It's odd to click and nothing happens
m
Joe — it seems my concern may be valid. Based on what Engel shared, not all users have this checkbox enabled by default. As a result, when they click the button, nothing happens, which could understandably lead them to interpret this as a UI issue on our end thankyou
c
I think maybe it’s a UX issue even if it was enabled by default? Once I disable it, maybe the item should disappear, or, alternatively do something/say something
Sorry if I misunderstood your comment. I disabled it again, and the menu item is still visible, and does nothing
m
Yes, that’s correct. This is the current behavior, and it may cause some confusion for end users. Users may not realize that they need to enable the checkbox for the button to work. Since the button is always visible, clicking it without the checkbox enabled results in no action, which could lead users to believe this is a bug.

Appreciate feedback all. The menu icon can be feature flagged on or off. It separate from the popup that is displayed. The original requirement assumed the popup would appear without having to toggle the Analyics setting. However due to a variety of reasons it’s not working as originally specified. I will hide the button and work with our OpenHands team to fix.
thankyou 1

It's the kind of thing I’d call user-friendliness bug 😇 Thank you!
Second super-tiny nit, just a suggestion really: I wonder if it is possible to not display Survey by PostHog in the dialogue? Even if it is, seems like it’d be cleaner without, if it can be avoided
e
Yes, it will require us to pay a lot more money, but will look into it. thanks all for the feedback. I will address this with a follow-up bug and disable the menu icon for the time being
OK, disabled temporarily now.

I wonder if maybe throwing the agent at it, with screenshots and reviewer agent, could also be an option 😇 Still requires human bandwidth, but well, we’re working to reduce that bandwidth 😹
