Was using the flowRateInletVelocity or flowRateOutletVelocity boundary conditions

And what do you get when you specify a velocity equivalent to that flow rate, using exprFieldValue constant <U value>?

Also, it seems that you can also specify profiles in your flowRateInletVelocity BC.

I lost this discord thing, sorry. I just need for example a flow rate of 10 m3/s. Then when I do the same with exprFixedValue, I can either follow coordinate direction (10, 0, 0) or I can follow face normal. But not seeing how to follow direction of nearby flow adjacent to patch.

Velocity requires three components. So i got whatever I put in. The best i could get it point into or out of domain, normal to surface. That is not what i need.

Not sure how to make it clearer. It is 9pm. During weekend I could make a 2D example to share.
