    at the moment i'm stuck with RAS, and even with that i can't affort low-Re meshes. gives okayish results and that i have to live with

    In this inlet pressure BC I want to change pressure with number of iterations so I am giving table as input but still the pressure is not changing

    { type totalPressure; pressure table ( (0 10) (1 40) ); p0 40; // only used for restarts U U; phi phi; rho none; psi none; gamma 1; value uniform 40;

    When I arrived home, I checked my books and "Numerical Techniques for Direct and Large-Eddy Simulations" by Xi Jiang & Choi-Hong Lai (CRC Press, 2009) would be good on both LES and DNS

    It covers LES and DNS for not only incompressible flows but also compressible flows

    For RANS models, "Fundamentals of Turbulence Modeling" by Ching-Jen Chen & Sheng-Yuh Jaw provides lots of details from derivation of turbulence models to determination of model coefficients

    It would be another "bible" for RANS perspective

    Probably everyone dealing with RANS knows that resource but I could not conclude my messages without mentioning it

    There is an even better book on LES/DNS, but it is damn difficult to find: https://www.abebooks.com/9781930217072/Elements-direct-large-eddy-simulation-Geurts-1930217072/plp
