Why do I want to do this challenge? I am currently in a zone where I am overwhelmed and distracted with too many things happening at work and also at home. It has been months since I have done any kind of focused activity for prolonged hours for more than a day. What activities can be considered as Deep Work for me? I recently joined a new team a month ago. It's already 30 days and the next 2 weeks are critical for me to start adding value to the team. Hence, I can do one of these to really call it Deep Work πŸ“š Learn - more about the core infra used by my new team (k8s, kong, kong-alt, plugins) ✍️ Write - a document on simplifying processes for my team or explaining my understanding of critical ongoing projects πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Code - Get better at writing production grade apps that will help my team How do I want to structure my challenge? My working days are driven by meetings setup by others. I want to finish my deep work before I get to BAU stuff. I would want to focus for at least an hour around 9-11am. I want to do this regularly for 2 weeks. I can miss a day but I want to complete this activity for at least 12/14 days to call it a win

Yes, I'm here! Sorry for the delay. It sounds like you're ready to tackle some deep work and make a real impact on your team. Here are some thoughts on your plan: - Learning more about your team's core infrastructure is a great way to add value and deepen your understanding of their work. - Writing a document to simplify processes or explain ongoing projects is a fantastic way to contribute to your team's success. - Improving your coding skills will not only benefit your team, but also help you grow as a developer. As for your challenge structure, setting aside a dedicated time for deep work each day is a smart move. Just remember to be flexible and forgiving with yourself if you miss a day or two. You got this!
