Were any docs ever generated on how to run nf-test offline? I found a closed issue from 2024 with a comment about it ..
@MarieLataretu @Nicolas Vannieuwkerke were both in the issue for example

i think this has been sort of solved in the latest release, but I haven't tried it myself yet

Hrm I'm having the same issue as Marie... It just stalls a while on my bre SCP but verbose/debug is not printing anything for a while and then I get the connection refused emssage
(because no slack on my laptop...)

have you tried downloading the plugins locally on another system and syncing them to your closed system?
nf-test shouldn't do these checks anymore if all plugins can be found locally

That's the weird thing, I can manually 
wget
or 
curl
the release tarballs from GitHub...

I think it's pulling just from GitHub directly, not a different server, no?

Do you know if you can access java level arguments from the nf-test CLI? I wonder if it's something to do with a proxy level thing

I think you can do that the same as any other Java CLI but I don't know by heart how to do that 😅
