Question, how does nf-core code become "(c) nf-core community" rather than the individual author? Do we have some kind of CLA?

I think because modules repo license which everything falls under is licensed by the community

That's been the assumption in nf-core so far - all code is associated with the root license.

But I think because modules /subwfflow code now float around the world it may not work so well for those

So the license comment should point directly to the license file via a URL
