I have been updaing a PR trying to address reviewer's request, but I run into exit 127 error encountering CI disk failure: github.com/nf-core/pacvar/…/113104649540?pr=73#…. The test exercises PBMM2, DeepVariant, Sawfish, HiPhase, fibertools-rs, and pb-CpG-tools using a small BAM (~1 MB, 100 long-reads). The Docker CI job fails (out of disk memory) near the end while pulling the MultiQC image: I really don't know what to do ... Any help?
The "explain error" AI-helper suggests updating
.github/workflows/nf-test.yml
as the following, but I’m unsure whether I should edit this template-bound file directly.
I updated the nf-test, and this is the error page showing that CI out of disk memory: github.com/nf-core/pacvar/…/113160073338?pr=73#…

One can increase disk space for the runners, see: nf-co.re/docs/developing/testing/ci-runners#…
In short, add a
volume=
label to the job's runs-on: list in
.github/workflows/nf-test.yml
, e.g.
runs-on:
   - runs-on=${{ github.run_id }}-nf-test
   - runner=4cpu-linux-x64
   - volume=80gb

Thank you, @Daniel Lundin it works! Finally! I did encounter many other CI run memory and non-deterministic file issues, but I finally figure it out. 🥹
