Hi everyone! I’m Ryan, founder and principal data scientist at Informatic Edge (<http://informaticedge.com|informaticedge.com>). I’m a long-time Nextflow user and newer to consulting/contracting, and I’d love to start giving back to the nf-core community. I rely on Nextflow and nf-core pipelines regularly in client work, as well as in past bioinformatics roles.

My background spans DevOps, HPC, bioinformatics, data science, and software engineering, and I also spent years at the bench as a microbiologist before moving into more computational work. Looking forward to connecting and finding ways to get involved!

If in doubt, the thing we always need most of is reviews :grimacing: <#CJRH30T6V> is a good place to start as there are lots of PRs and they're all quite small. Then there's always folks on <#CQY2U5QU9> and even <#C08K66XCZSL> who are trying to find people to check their code.

No problem if you feel unsure about reviewing, just comment that you're new and would like a second opinion. It's a great way to get involved and learn the nf-core conventions and rules :thisistheway: :sweat_smile:
