Hello all, looking for some advice. I have a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and I've been working in cancer research for over a decade, and I completed my Master's in Bioinformatics last year. I want to make myself appealing for more Bioinformatics/Computational positions. Any advice on the best way to gain more experience, etc?

You can make your GitHub a nice gallery of informatics work. There are open access datasets out there you can do various analyses of or reproduce work from a paper.

I would also add showing active contributions to open source projects (nf-core is a good example) is a good way to boost your GitHub profile too
