Hey everyone, final year bioinformatics undergrad at VIT (graduating July 2027), looking for pharma R&D / bioinformatics / ML roles. British citizen so no sponsorship needed for UK, also open to relocating anywhere. Some of what I've built: a GNN + XGBoost model for drug-target interaction on the Davis kinase dataset, a multi-omics PAM50 breast cancer subtyping model on TCGA-BRCA (84-85% accuracy), and a cfDNA methylation multi-cancer detection pipeline (ROC-AUC 0.922). Got 2 PRs merged into nf-core/modules (gatk4/haplotypecaller and vcontact3). Also did a clinical ops internship at a Phase I-IV CRO if that's relevant to anyone. Main stack is Python, PyTorch/PyTorch Geometric, RDKit, XGBoost, Nextflow DSL2, Docker. Open to full-time or internships in drug discovery / comp bio.
