Is there a way to trigger a biocontainers update? A tool released a new version about 2 weeks ago and the containers are still not there

nf-core m containers create
winking cowboy

Smart, I'll try
Although I'm not sure about the interaction with
nf-core m bump
m
we haven't updated that command yet (we are trying a slow roll-out)
m
I usually went on the biocontainers channels for that, there was a gitter, I am unsure what they are using now. Otherwise, I just create a seqera container nowadays

nf-core m con create
doesn't work in my specific setup, Paolo please fix reverse proxy

Out of curiosity, what is that doesn't work in your setup? Seems like it's only doing standard outgoing connections.
i
It looks like Wave is not authenticating correctly with the proxy, even though the env variables are set correctly, so the connection gets rejected by the proxy. I have experienced the same issue with Nextflow before.
p
Sounds like a java issue. This is a proxy that needs some form of auth? Might be easier to run a local proxy to deal with that rather than try to convince all environments (with java being a snowflake) how it's done.
i
Yes, it's a proxy that requires login and password for basically anything. It's a bit of a pain, but it's corporate policy. I'm not the IT department, so I cannot pull any funny tricks to circumvent it.
