I am working on my release PR from
dev
to
main
and I am a bit confused about the process. If reviewers request changes, should I create a new development branch on my fork, make the requested edits there, and open a PR from my fork back into the upstream
dev
branch? Or, since this is already a release PR, should I make the requested edits directly on the upstream
dev
branch so they are included in the existing
dev
→
main
release PR?
e
you can create a new branch directly into the nf-core pipeline repo, no need to be on your fork
reviewer_comments_tackle branch -> dev -> main

@Evangelos Karatzas When I create a new
reviewer_comments_tackle
branch directly into the nf-core pipeline repo, do I need a PR to merge to
dev
? Thank you!!!!

Yes, to merge changes from one branch to the other one usually uses PRs
